EMS-42K : Desktop Rapid-Smart Charger for KENWOOD. Charges PB-42L (1500-2000mAh), PB-42XL (4000mAh), PB-42XM (4540mAh) style Li-ION batteries.
Choose ORIGINAL style charger or NEW style charger.
(1) ORIGINAL style: EMS-42K has charging contacts on back; you insert your battery upside down into the charger. Charges original KENWOOD brand battery packs. Charges ALL batteries that fit the TH-F6A, TH-F6E, TH-F7. ORIGINAL style is a good choice if you still have a lot of original OEM KENWOOD batteries.
(2) NEW style : EMS-42K NEW has charging contacts in the base; enables drop-in charging of battery & radio together, or battery alone. Charges OUR PB-42L, PB-42XL, and PB-42XM Li-ION batteries, with or without the radio attached. NEW style is a good choice if you have our new bateries, or are upgrading/replacing old ones with the new batteries.
Both charger styles have LED charge status indicators, and safely shut off when the battery is fully charged. Both come with UL-approved worldwide Wall TX power supplies.
